The Adept Response power conditioner is equipped with a very high
quality ground loop isolation transformer. This device is intended
to remove hum and line noise inherent in satellite and cable TV
lines. This "noise" is a result of the fact that satellite
and cable TV lines operate from a ground different from the house
power ground that also serves your audio/video system.
Since no two grounds are at the exact same potential the result
is a flow of ground current "noise" that is audible and
visible through audio and video systems. By going through the high
quality isolation transformer this noise source is eliminated resulting
in higher resolution sound and video.
